Six Ways to Grow as a Creator Without Being a Glutton

How I Ended Years Of Back Pain

In my twenties, I read a book instead of having a surgery.

That same book lead to:

  • The end of over five years of chronic pain

  • Saving thousands of dollars in treatments

  • A new understanding of how emotions were pulling levers I didn’t know existed

Pain is real no matter what is causing it. But what is causing it may not always be what it appears.

Here’s the three big reasons it worked:

  • There’s a type of person (spoiler alert: it’s same type that most entrepreneurs tend to be) that are subject to this syndrome.

  • The conventional medical data didn’t make sense, and that broke my frame.

  • Our hearts beat, we breathe, we regulate our body temperature, and we digest food along with dozens of other things we never think about. But the things off our conscious radar aren’t always helping us.

The best part? I didn’t have to do have surgery.

I simply read a book, and followed the instructions.

What does this have to do with business? Lower back pain is the leading cause of missed work, just behind the common cold.

Also - I’ve gifted this book to more work colleagues with some kind of chronic pain more than any business book.
